In an attempt to bounce back from his loss, Konstantinos dispatches Sfrancis to assault the dervishes in the hopes of demonstrating the Turks’ inability to entrench themselves. The Ottomans are drawn to him as a result, and Çandarlı marches to face Sfrancis.
