Mehmed: Sultan of Conquests Episode 5 with English Subtitle

On his wedding night, Mehmed secretly goes to Constantinople to save his friend Zağanos, teaming up with an unexpected contact in the Byzantine palace. He also tries to convince Urban to come back. While there, he learns his mother has died, which makes him question his father’s actions.

Meanwhile, his disappearance causes problems at home, and the Byzantines find out he’s there. Helena and Notaras plan to capture him, which causes an argument with Emperor Konstantinos. It’s unclear if their plan will work or what will happen to Mehmed.
